AC/DC Selectable CCTV Power Supplies

The SV series of camera power supplies provides a convenient means of powering 12V DC or 24V AC cameras. The multi-output configuration allows easier installation, greater reliability and unequalled flexibility in multi-camera installations. It avoids the need to tie up one electrical outlet per camera, and provides significant advantages over multiple plug-in transformers in safety, convenience, neatness and cost.

The SV series is delivered with the power supply circuit board configured for 12V DC operation. In this mode, it provides a maximum of 2.5 Amps for powering 12V DC cameras or other devices. Moving a switch on the circuit board will change the output to 24V AC, with a maximum of 4 amps for powering 24V AC devices. The sixteen output model contains two circuit boards, each individually programmable for 12V DC or 24V AC operation (8 channels each), making them suitable for applications with all AC, all DC or mixed voltage devices.

AC Voltage Inhibit Protects Cameras

An inhibit feature is provided to prevent the unintentional application of the wrong voltage to cameras or other devices. When a link is cut, the power supply is permanently configured for 12V DC operation.

Self-Resetting SmartFuse Protection

All outputs are protected by self-resetting SmartFuses. These react like a glass fuse but reset themselves when the surge has passed or the fault is removed, eliminating costly service calls to replace blown fuses. Built-in surge suppression protects your cameras from transients. A roomy metal can allows plenty of space for wiring and provides numerous knock-outs for cable entry.
